Dubia Roach Size Guide: What Size Do I Need?
What size dubia roach do I need?
Choose a roach no wider than the space between your pet's eyes. When in doubt, choose the smaller size.
How to measure:
- Look at your pet head-on and estimate the distance between its eyes.
- Compare the roach's width — not just its length — to that gap. Dubia roaches are broad and flat.
- If you are unsure, size down. Two small roaches are better than one your pet cannot swallow.
- Re-check every few weeks for growing juveniles — they outgrow a size fast.
This is a general guide. Always measure your actual pet. Sizes below are The Dubia Dude's sizes — other stores use different size bands.
